How to find us

Contact / FAQ's

  • I'm just over 14 stone, Is the weight limit flexible

No, each horse has a weight carrying capacity calculated by our vet annualy. Whilst some of our horses can carry more, we set each horses weight limit below its maximum, to ensure they can work both comfortably and happily across the season.

  • Can we trot and canter with beginners?

All rides go out at the pace of the least experienced rider, this is a safety and enjoyment matter. We have many hundered advanced riders join in on the scenic treks each season, either alone or with friends or family with less experience simply to enjoy some horsey time whilst on holiday.

We do have fast rides available across the season specificly for advanced riders only, However these are limited in number by demand, most people capable of the ride will have their own horses and can gallop anytime. Therefore joining in on a scenic trek for the simple pleasure of it.

  • Do you cancel due to rain?

Certainly not, neither the horses or our trek leaders dissolve in rain! so pop on a jacket and/or waterproofs and you will still enjoy the ride.

Whilst the views may be stunning and your vision further in the sunshine, the rainy days often make for very dramatic scenery changes and will not leave you disappointed, perhaps a little wet, but a quick change of clothes will sort that!!

  • What should we wear?

Dress for the weather, No baggy clothes, no shorts, skirts, high heels or open toe footwear.

Trainers or walking boots are fine, all of our stirrups are fitted with "toe stoppers" so no need for fancy riding boots, however anything with a small heel would be great!

For wet days pack a jacket and waterproof trouses and/or a change of clothes!

  • Pony Rides - I have 3 children, but the website only has 2 spaces

The website only allows bookings for the pony rides in two's as we almost always have two horses or ponies available throughout the day, alongside the rides and staff available to accompany. However depending on staff and horse availability we may be able to take more together.  Please call us for options.

We are open Tuesday - Sunday 1000 - 1700

All bookings are made via the website where you will find all availability and pricing by clicking any of the    "Availability & booking buttons"

We have a small, hardworking team who work across all activities, we try our best to keep up with calls and emails, please be patient if trying to contact. Calls & emails will be answered as quickly as possible during business hours.
